Michelle Williams & Jason Segel's Breakup Saddened Readers

03/02/2013 at 05:00 PM EST

Jason Segel and Michelle Williams

AKM-GSI

From breakups to bad fashion, this week's news had you laughing, smiling and feeling blue. The endearing display of fatherhood from new dad Nick Lachey, who put mini-me son Camden on his new album cover, made you smile, while Michelle Williams and Jason Segel's split made you sad.

Check out the articles with the top reactions on the site this week, and keep clicking on the emoticons at the bottom of every story to tell us what you think!

LoveReaders showed big love for Lachey's precious baby photo, which adorns the singer's latest record cover, for A Father's Lullaby. Lachey, 39, is loving being a first-time dad, and his son with wife Vanessa Lachey, is an uncanny mini-me version of the pop singer, with thick brown hair and deep blue eyes.

WowBritney Spears has debuted many looks in her career, but her latest chestnut haircolor – a welcome change from her usual blonde – has our readers offering their approval. The singer's new look, which she showed off at Elton John's Oscar night party, comes as a fresh start after her January break-up with fiancé Jason Trawick.

Angry If outspoken Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville wasn't provocative enough already, her revealing Oscar dress drew angry responses from readers who said its cleavage-spilling bodice wasn't property fitted to house to her ample assets.

SadThe breakup of actors Michelle Williams, 32, and Jason Segel, 33, saddened our readers, many of whom no doubt wanted a fairy tale ending for the actress and her daughter, Matilda, 7. A source told PEOPLE that the couple's long-distance relationship – she lives in New York, he in Los Angeles – was to blame.

LOLJosh Duhamel, expecting a baby with wife Fergie, describes himself as a big kid, and his drag-inspired parody of Taylor Swift, in an oversized dress and blonde wig, no less, made our readers laugh out loud. The outfit was a part of his promotion for the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards, set for March 23 on Nickelodeon, where Duhamel, 40, will serve as host.

Check back next week for another must-read roundup, and see what readers are reacting to every day here.

Jane Lynch: My Greatest Pleasure Is My Stepdaughter

Jane Lynch
Alexandra Wyman/Wireimage

Jane Lynch has a whole lot to cheer about – in addition to having a top-three grossing movie, Escape from Planet Earth, she’ll be making her grand debut on the Great White Way this spring, playing the infamous evil orphan matron Miss Hannigan in the newest Annie revival.

Great news for the star known for playing trash-talking cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on Glee, but it pales in comparison to her real-life role as a stepmom.

“My greatest pleasure is Haden, my stepdaughter, ” Lynch tells PEOPLE recently as she screened her film at The Moms Mamarazzi event in New York City. Lynch voices the character of IO alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba and Sofia Vergara.

“I am surprised how much love you feel and how you would do anything for your children,” she admits since marrying Lara Embry, a psychologist, in 2010.

The Emmy winner, who hits the stage May 16, jokes that “some may say I know a thing or two about playing intimidating authority figures,” but says that she “knows how important love and acceptance is.”

“I am in love and in awe with Haden. I like watching her walk through the world without fear,” Lynch explains. “She happens to be an exceptional human being and one of the most fair, open-hearted, embracing people I have ever met — grownup or child.”

Her brief foray into parenthood has already taught her many things, Lynch says.

“If one week your child wants to be an actor and the next day a fireman, encourage them. Seeing who your kids are as opposed to what you want them to be is important,” she notes. “It’s not up to you.”

It's Another Boy for American Idol's Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini American Idol Welcomes Son Asher
Jeff Ballard PR

A very sleepy-sounding Justin Guarini is a dad again!

He and wife Reina Capodici welcomed their second son, Asher, at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25. He weighed in 7 lbs., 8 oz.

“He’s the sweetest little boy you could ever ever ever ask for,” the American Idol season one runner-up, tells PEOPLE on the phone from the hospital in his hometown of Doyletown, Penn. “He made his way into the world nice and easy.”

And, notes the proud papa, “He is a ravenous eater! He would probably spend 24 hours latched to his mom if he could.”

Still not clear if his newborn will be the mini-me his 22-month-old older brother William Neko was.

“My first son looked like exactly like me,” says Guarini. “We don’t know who Asher will take after. He’s a mystery right now!”

Still, William was very happy to meet his new sibling. “He came to see Asher when he was a day old and all he wanted to do was lean over and kiss him.” (Justin is also stepdad to 8-year-old Lola, from his wife’s first marriage.)

Guarini says he’s busier than ever these days — almost too busy to watch American Idol.

“It’s really crazy,” he says. “I got three kids and I’ll be going back to Broadway soon and I’m still writing new music.”

Still, he tunes in when he can. “It’s so different than when I was on it,” Guarini admits. “It was simpler. I feel like an old man watching it! But my heart goes out to the people on the show. They have to work unbelievably hard to get there.”

He’s not rooting for anyone specific just yet: “I’ve been prepping for the baby,” he says with a laugh.

Besides, he’s got more immediate concerns at the moment — like sleep!

“Well, I’ve gotten more sleep than my wife,” he concedes, “but no more than a few hours. We’re gonna take Asher home today. I can’t wait.”

Kendra Wilkinson Takes Kate Gosselin's Parenting Advice After Celebrity Wife Swap

When it comes to parenting, Kendra Wilkinson considers Kate Gosselin her mentor.

"If there's any person in this world I'm going to take motherly advice from, it's going to be Kate Gosselin," Wilkinson, 27, told PEOPLE on Friday. "She has eight kids and she knows what she's doing with them. When she told me advice, I listened. With most people, I'm just like, 'Whatever ... whatever, I'm not going to listen to you.' But she's the type I would take advice from."

The two moms connected while filming an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, which airs Tuesday on ABC (8 p.m. ET). While Wilkinson stayed in Gosselin's Pennsylvania home with her eight kids, Gosselin, 37, ventured to L.A. to live with Wilkinson's hubby Hank Baskett and their 3-year-old son, Hank Baskett IV.

"It was very nerve-racking and I had a lot of anxiety on my end," Wilkinson said of the swap. But, she adds, "Hank's side of things was more the drama. Kate shines the light on things people don't really understand."

Gosselin, it seems, didn't appreciate the couple's more relaxed lifestyle.

"Hank stood up for me and had my back, because I don't think Kate really understands why a man like him is so domestic," the former Girls Next Door star explains. "Hank was like, 'Just chill, relax. These are our rules.' A woman gets to relax and be free. Kate freaked out because she's so used to working and structure and every minute is by the book. But that's not us, though. We're very laid back. We go with the flow."

Still, the reality stars bonded after being out of their respective comfort zones.

"We both got a taste of each other's lives," Wilkinson says of the former Kate Plus 8 star. "We got really close and really in-depth."

She even recommends the Wife Swap experience.

"People should do these swaps more often," she says. "Not just for show, but you really just find this appreciation for your neighbors through this."

Daniel Radcliffe Dances to Nelly in West Hollywood

02/24/2013 at 04:00 PM EST

We're not in Hogwarts anymore.

Daniel Radcliffe made an unexpected appearance at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood on Friday night. Arriving with a male pal around 1:40 a.m., the Harry Potter star was "in party mode but really friendly," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

Wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and jeans, the actor hung out at a table in the club's back VIP room, where he made himself vodka cocktails.

As DJ BeeFowl spun hit after hit, Radcliffe "started singing and dancing at the table to Nelly's 'Country Grammar' and 'Ride Wit Me'," the source adds. "He introduced himself to people at his table casually as 'Dan.' "

As the evening progressed, Girl Meets World star Ben Savage chatted up Radcliffe and the two shared a laugh.

The next song to make Radcliffe dance was Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

The source adds, "He was very happy-go-lucky," and Radcliffe "posed for a few photos and stayed at the club until closing time."

Sean Lowe Reveals His Feelings as The Bachelor Winds Up

People Exclusive

02/23/2013 at 05:30 PM EST

As another Bachelor journey races to a dramatic finish, PEOPLE figured it was time to check in with Sean Lowe to get his exclusive thoughts on the recently eliminated, the final three, the all-important overnight dates in Thailand – and the accompanying sex speculation, Tierra's engagement and the Women Tell All reunion.

After pegging Des as "the one," her dismissal still comes as a shock.
Des had the second one-on-one of the season, and I thought after that date that she would most likely be the one. From the very beginning, we got along so well. … But as the season progressed, she started to doubt our relationship a little bit, and that was cause for concern. I felt like Des had a tendency to hide things behind her smile and, after hearing about her childhood … I think a lot of times she probably had to put on a brave face when she probably just wanted to let go and be emotional.

Choosing to send someone home is also having to decide to keep others. Why did you choose the final three?
I can go down the line. Lindsay was sweet, supportive, an incredible girl, and we get along so well together. She was someone I could picture marrying. AshLee has everything I'm looking for. Despite everything she went through as a child, she came out this strong, confidant woman. She truly has a heart where she just wants to love a man, and I can tell she will be a wonderful mother. And Catharine fits the best friend mold. … We have fun together, can be passionate at times and she's also very intellectual, which is an attractive quality to me.

Catherine's family seemed to be discreetly warning you that she might not be ready for marriage and kids right now, like you seem to be.
Let me clarify. I'm not in a hurry to be a dad. I'm looking forward to that next chapter because I've been a single guy for so long. But kids can wait for a while as we get to know each other. I do want someone who shares the same vision of the future as I do. That's a no-brainer.

Did her family's comments seem to contradict that plan?
It was cause for concern. Her sisters made comments like she wants to pursue her career in New York. I'm all for that, but I thought it was odd that she didn't bring that to me herself.

So, after hometowns came the overnights and fantasy suites. How did you feel when you were about to have those dates?
Going into the overnight dates in Thailand, I was stressed out because I had no idea how the three remaining women stacked up. I didn't have them ranked 1,2,3. It was like splitting thirds, because I was falling for all of them for different reasons. They are all wonderful girls with their own unique and special qualities. … At the end of the week, I had to make a decision And ultimately I would end up breaking one of their hearts.

Did you learn something on the overnight dates that made it clear to you who to send home?
No. I was hoping that might be the case, and I wish it had been, but it wasn't.

AshLee proclaimed her love for you early. Did that spook you?
No, not really. I know Ashley is a passionate person, and that translates into being very emotional. She admitted early on that she has a hard time trusting guys because she has abandonment issues. So she let me take control, and … it was comforting to know that we'd already reached that level.

Is the drama over?
There is so much more drama left. I wouldn't consider myself a very emotional person. Outside of Ashley telling me the story of meeting her father for the first time, I couldn't tell you the last time I cried before that. But before the next episode's rose ceremony, I remember putting my suit on, getting ready to face the day and I broke down. I realized the magnitude of the day. It hit me all at once.

Are you looking forward to the reunion special and facing all your castoffs?
For the most part, I am anxious and eager to see the girls. I have such great memories of all of them.

What is your final take on Tierra and all the hate flowing her direction?
I do feel bad for Tierra. She is clearly not an evil person. She was always sweet around me. Granted, she handled herself so poorly and was completely different around the women. She shouldn't have done this show. If you can't get along with your peers, this is going to be hell for you. But she doesn't deserve a lot of the stuff I've read being said about her. It's just hateful. Although her eyebrows are getting some love. Their blog has like 25,000 followers.

And she's now engaged.
So I heard.

How does it feel that speculation over what happened behind closed doors on the overnights is a huge topic of conversation?
It's annoying and tiring. I don't like dealing with those headlines and that gossip because frankly it's none of their business. And two, out of all things you can focus on, there's so much more to talk about.

Well, maybe people like to picture you naked.
I don't know why.

The Hunger Games: Katniss & Peeta's Victory Tour Look Revealed

02/22/2013 at 06:00 PM EST

They survived the Hunger Games – but will they survive the Victory Tour?

Sporting bridal-like attire, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) pose for a promotional poster for the Victory Tour – which – in the Hunger Games universe – is when the victor of the annual Hunger Games tournament visits each of the fictional Panem's districts.

As true Hunger Games fans know, there is usually only one victor – but Katniss and Peeta rebelled against the Capitol in the first movie, originally opting for joint suicide instead of murder.

The softer look is a deliberate statement, meant to continue the charade that Katniss and Peeta were blinded by love when they rebelled against the rules in the arena.

The second film, Catching Fire, hits theaters Nov. 22.

Do the Hemsworth Brothers Have a Type?

Style News Now

Miley Cyrus Liam HemsworthAKM-GSI (2)

Miley Cyrus has been very open about fiancé Liam Hemsworth’s fondness for her bold new do — and he’s obviously a fan of her increasingly funky ensembles as well.

And now that we’ve spotted Hemsworth’s brother Chris out with his wife, Elsa Pataky, who’s rocking a Cyrus-esque ensemble herself, we have to wonder: do the Hemsworth boys have a type?

Both of the Aussie hotties’ significant others share an affinity for shredded denim, chunky engineer boots and choppy, super-short blonde hair.

And when we spotted the tiny girls standing next to the bulky brothers, both clad in V-necks, slouchy jeans and aviators, we admit we had to do a double take to deduce which couple was which.

Fortunately, Chris travels with the ultimate accessory — his adorable baby daughter — which makes them a bit easier to tell apart. But we still have to guess there’s a lot of confusion around the Hemsworth household at holidays.

Tell us: Do you and your siblings go for the same “type?” Are you amused that the Hemsworth boys seem to?

Jodi Arias Testifies: I Don't Remember Stabbing My Lover 27 Times

Update

Nearly two months into her murder trial in a Phoenix courtroom, Jodi Arias told jurors Wednesday morning that she killed Travis Alexander in self-defense – but doesn't remember stabbing him nearly 30 times.

"I just remember dropping the knife and being very freaked out and screaming," Arias, 32, said after two weeks of explicit direct testimony about her sex life with Alexander, including their kinky sex shortly before his death. She says the knife was the same one Alexander had used that afternoon when he tied her up for sex.

Facing the death penalty if convicted, Arias says her memory of June 4, 2008, clears up when she put the knife in the dishwasher. Driving off barefoot, she brought with her the rope she said Alexander had used to tie her up and a gun that she pulled from the top of his walk-in closet before shooting him.

"I was very scared and very upset. ... I just wanted to die," Arias testified. "I thought, 'My life is probably done now.'"

She says she decided to bury those feelings and try to act normal as she drove north into Utah to visit another man with whom she already had plans to see.

She says she tossed the gun in the desert, dropped the rope in a Dumpster near St. George, Utah, washed the blood from her hands with a case of bottled Costco water she kept in her trunk and put on a spare pair of work shoes.

The man she met, Ryan Burns, earlier testified that Arias was frisky and affectionate when she visited on June 5. Arias testified that she kissed Burns and cuddled with him the day after killing Alexander because, "I felt safe right there and, I figured, I just wanted to seem normal, like I didn't just do what I just did."

Centerpiece of Defense

Arias's testimony was the long-anticipated centerpiece of her defense. Once that's done, prosecutors are expected to spend several days trying to pick apart her story.

Arias also talked about how she and Alexander, a charismatic Mormon motivational speaker, had an off-and-on relationship in which he sometimes become violent or sadistic.

She says she had arrived at his Mesa, Ariz. home at 5 a.m. and although they took photos and video of themselves having sex, Alexander repeatedly became enraged with her – first for giving him badly scratched CDs of photographs of their trips together, then for dropping his camera.

She says that as Alexander chased her through a walk-in closet "like a linebacker," she grabbed a gun that she knew he kept on a top shelf. She says that she held up the gun, expecting that Alexander would stop charging at her, but he didn't.

"The gun went off, I didn't even mean to shoot, I didn't know my hand was on the trigger," Arias testified. She says that, as they wrestled on the ground, she assumed that she'd shot a hole in the wall, not that she'd hit Alexander. After that, she says, "there's a lot of that day that I don't remember, there's a lot of gaps.

"I have no memory of stabbing him," Arias told jurors, who have heard graphic testimony that Alexander was shot in the head and repeatedly stabbed, and that his throat was slashed ear to ear.

Arias testified she remembers standing in his bathroom, dropping the knife on the hard floor, and thinking, "that I just couldn't believe what had just happened and I couldn't rewind the clock and take it back." She did not recall dragging him to the bathroom or placing him in the shower, she said.

Arias also testified that she still loves Alexander – "It's a different love but yes, I do."

Since the slaying, Arias has changed her story, first saying she had no connection to the crime, then saying two masked intruders killed Alexander and almost killed her. "I basically told everyone what I could remember of the day, and that the intruder story was all B.S.," Arias said Wednesday afternoon at the close of her testimony.

Prosecutors suggest Arias killed Alexander out of jealousy after he pushed her out of his life and started dating someone else, and that the gun was actually a pistol that she stole from her grandparents' home in Yreka, Calif., weeks earlier.

How Does Fergie's Maternity Style Stack Up to Kate, Jessica and Kim?

Style News Now

When we heard that Fergie was expecting a baby Black Eyed Pea, we were on the edge of our seats waiting to see how the famously funky star‘s maternity style would play out. Luckily she didn’t keep us waiting long, stepping out with husband Josh Duhamel Tuesday in a shearling bomber jacket, yellow sweater dress and circular sunglasses.

“It’s clear to see how happy they are,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. ”They are really excited.” And we are really excited to see how her outfits fit into the range of maternity style — from low-key to high-wattage — that we’ve been spotting from L.A. to London.

On the “mild” end of the spectrum is the Duchess of Cambridge (left), who has dressed her barely-there bump in conservative coats and this elegant Max Mara wrap dress.

A little wilder is Jessica Simpson, wearing a pink jacket with Jessica Simpson Maternity leggings, who sticks to the same styles she favors even when not pregnant (blazers, maxis and sky-high heels) but isn’t shy about putting her fuller curves on display with plunging V-necks.

And on the far end of the “mild to wild”-o-meter: Kim Kardashian, of course, who has put her bump on display in feathers, crop tops, mesh, sequins and sheer numbers — including this onesie pantsuit.

As it turns out, these stars’ maternity style isn’t so different from how they dressed pre-baby … which makes us even more excited to see how the rest of their pregnancy wardrobe will go. Tell us: Who’s the best-dressed mom-to-be?

Beyoncé: I Would Not Be the Woman I Am Without Jay-Z

Beyoncé is one smitten starlet.

The notoriously private performer, 31, recently got candid with Oprah, and gushed about the love of her life, husband Jay-Z, 43.

"I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man," the new mom said firmly, almost as if she she was about to get teary-eyed. "It just gives me such a foundation. [He's helped me] on so many levels."

But it wasn't love at first sight for the power pair.

"We were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any dates," Beyoncé explains. "We were on the phone for a year and a half, and that foundation is so important for a relationship. Just to have someone who you just like is so important, and someone [who] is honest."

For the longest time, the couple refused to address their marriage to media, and that is something the talk show host finds particularly amusing.

"I remember the first time you were on the Oprah show, I told you, 'Don't go around telling people who you're dating,' " Oprah recalls. "I think you took that all the way. Don't tell people who you're dating, but you can tell people who you're married to, OK?"

The singer is set to get even more personal in her Life Is But a Dream documentary, airing Saturday night on HBO. In an already-featured clip from the highly anticipated documentary, Beyoncé revealed she miscarried before giving birth to Blue Ivy.

Why Melissa Joan Hart Is Resisting Valentine's Day This Year

Age is more than just a number for mom-of-three Melissa Joan Hart.

The actress, who welcomed her second child, Brady, now 4½, two years after the birth of her first son, Mason, now 7, says waiting until both boys were older to expand her family further was ideal.

“It’s definitely easier to have an infant when the other two boys are potty trained and can dress themselves,” Hart, 36, told PEOPLE at Wednesday’s Operation Shower in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

“I’m able to enjoy every single minute, and that has been great.”

Basking in baby bliss with her now 5-month-old son Tucker, Hart is embracing the opportunity to relive all of the major milestones for a third time.

“[Tucker] is just such a happy baby, lots of smiles and laughing. Like the other boys, he has great motor skills and right now it’s fun to see him grab at things,” she says.

Unlike his older brothers, however, Tucker is already sporting some long locks. “One of the biggest differences is that he has tons of hair,” she says.

Having welcomed three children, Hart is adamant about celebrating every birth, which is why she has teamed up with Operation Shower and Birdies for the Brave, a mission to host baby showers for military families whose partners are serving overseas.

“I can’t even imagine how difficult it is for these military moms going through pregnancy alone while their spouses are in harm’s way. It’s an emotional time, especially with all of the hormones,” she says of the event, hosted by Carousel Designs.

“Operation Shower and Birdies for the Brave do a great job of making these moms feel special and recognizing all of their sacrifices at home. It’s a sincere pleasure to support these two outstanding organizations.”

With Valentine’s Day on Thursday, Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson are looking forward to toasting to some couple time — only she’ll be phoning it in from the set of her show, Melissa & Joey.

“Valentine’s Day is my first day back at work, so I will be enjoying the day with the great cast and crew,” she says.

Continues Hart: “We usually celebrate the day before or the day after anyhow since it’s difficult getting a babysitter that night and it’s so crowded everywhere.”

Biggest Loser's Alison Sweeney Blogs About Valentine's Day Temptation

The Biggest Loser

02/12/2013 at 05:30 PM EST

Alison Sweeney hosts NBC's The Biggest Loser and is the award-winning star of Days of Our Lives, in addition to being an author, director, producer, wife and mom. Like she has for the past two seasons, Alison will blog each week about the latest episode of The Biggest Loser. Follow her on Twitter @Ali_Sweeney.

It's time for singles on The Biggest Loser – and that changes everything! Once I'd given each remaining contestant their new color, I loved the celebration in the house, particularly for Danni who had been competing as a single for the last couple of weeks.

However, the celebration was short-lived when they were introduced to their Valentine's Day temptation. It's incredible that a holiday celebrating love comes with so many calories that hurt those you love the most. So as the challenge began, I put on my night vision goggles and it killed me to watch Francelina and Alex stuffing calories into their mouths. Meanwhile, I was so proud of Danni for using the time for a workout.

In the gym, it was fun to watch the trainers working with different contestants. Jillian – never one to shy away from a challenge – took Francelina and Alex as punishment for their eating during the temptation. She also took Jeff because they'd butted heads in the past. Despite his tough exterior, I think Jeff finally figured out that Jillian can break through any wall and get to the heart of what caused contestants to become overweight. And she's then able to work with them on transforming their entire lives.

After this week's challenge, Danni really impressed me (again!) by giving her reward to Gina and Michael so they could spend 24 hours with their loved ones. We were all so moved by Gina and Michael's reaction to the prize – to knowing they would see loved ones. Not a dry eye. For Gina to see her husband and put her wedding ring back on because it finally fit again was heartwarming. Then to watch Michael with his wife and his baby was just awesome. How cute is Little Mike?

During this week's weigh-in, it was great to see Alex reach "One-derland" (being in the 100s) despite the calories she consumed during the temptation. It was also great to see Jackson's elation at having such a great weight loss for the week.

In the end, for the first yellow line, the choice came down to whether to eliminate Francelina or Michael. When the decisions were made, it was Michael who was sent home. But, just like others before him this season, Michael showed that what he learned on the Ranch could be applied at home and I know he's going to make sure his entire family gets healthy and stays healthy.

With the kids this week, it was great to watch them step further outside of their comfort zones and to have fun while working out. For them, it's not about clocking hours in the gym but more about finding ways to have fun being active and to gain self-confidence through successes.

My favorite moment of the week: Michael's reaction when his wife and baby walked in the room and surprised him.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, especially to Dave, my incredible husband of almost 13 years, and to my kids, Ben and Megan. (Check out Ben's awesome jump over the sofa and Megan's adorable reaction in my Good Housekeeping cover story, which is on stands now!)

First, Duchess Catherine cut hers. Then, Michelle Obama made the cut. And now we think we can officially declare bangs to be the hairstyle to have, because LeAnn Rimes has debuted her blunt new fringe on Twitter.

“Love my Andy LeCompte! I got banged,” she joked on Twitter of the new cut, along with a photo of her smiling next to the renowned celeb stylist. “Love em! Was time for a fun change.”

The star stepped out the night before her Saturday cut in a glam mini and her signature loose, blonde waves. But she decided not to take her new do for a spin on the Grammys red carpet, tweeting “I like my PJs better!”

We can’t say we blame her, but we hope she doesn’t keep the finished cut under wraps for long. We need more bangs inspiration for our Pinterest board.

Tell us: What do you think of Rimes’s new bangs?

Pink Reveals Her Secret to a Happy Marriage: Listening ... in Moderation

02/10/2013 at 05:00 PM EST

Three-time Grammy winner Pink, 33, who is up for best pop vocal album at this month's Grammy Awards – and kicks off her U.S. tour on Feb. 13 – shares the secrets behind her music.

You're nominated for The Truth About Love. So how does the magic happen?
When I start a record, I'm like, 'God, I wonder if I can even sing.' But I write poetry and keep a journal, then the first day I go into the studio, I'm like, 'Here we go, I'm turning the faucet on!' I bottle it up for so long that the inspiration is always there.

How'd you get Eminem to be on 'Here Comes the Weekend'?
He wanted me to be on his last record (2010's Recovery), so I said, 'Yeah, let's swap.' I'm a die-hard Eminem fan. I think he's awesome.

You vent about your husband, Carey Hart, in many songs. How does he feel about that?
He's like, 'Look, I know you, we have a good sense of humor, and I know what I signed up for. I only listen to half of what you say anyway!' When he starts listening to me too much, we have problems!

What does your 20-month-old daughter Willow think of mommy’s music?
The first time she heard my music, she kind of looked at me and got the weirdest expression on her face. I wondered, 'God, what's going on in there for her?'

Many people will be partying hard Grammy night, so what's your best hangover cure?
Drink a beer as soon as possible! I used to be able to drink a bottle of wine and not get a hangover. Now, after two glasses I have a headache.

The 55th annual Grammys will air Sunday, Feb. 10, on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
